Ingredients

3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

For the Sauce:

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon water

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray.

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, water, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken.

Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
