Creamy Baked Caesar Chicken with Crispy Crouton Topping

Delicious creamy baked Caesar chicken with a crispy crouton topping—easy, flavorful, and perfect for a quick family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thinly sliced or pounded flat)

  • 6 tablespoons creamy Caesar dressing

  • 6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced

  • 1 cup Caesar-style croutons

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.

  • Arrange the chicken breasts in a large baking dish. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  • Spread about 1 to 2 tablespoons of creamy Caesar dressing evenly over each chicken breast.

  • Place the provolone slices over the chicken, covering each piece completely.

  • Crush the croutons into coarse crumbs. Melt the butter and mix it thoroughly with the crouton crumbs.

  • Sprinkle the buttery crouton mixture evenly over the cheese-topped chicken.

  • Bake in the oven on the middle rack for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F) and the topping is golden brown. If the topping browns too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil for the remaining baking time.

  • Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve immediately.
