Description
Delicious creamy baked Caesar chicken with a crispy crouton topping—easy, flavorful, and perfect for a quick family dinner.
Ingredients
-
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thinly sliced or pounded flat)
-
6 tablespoons creamy Caesar dressing
-
6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
-
1 cup Caesar-style croutons
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
-
Arrange the chicken breasts in a large baking dish. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
-
Spread about 1 to 2 tablespoons of creamy Caesar dressing evenly over each chicken breast.
-
Place the provolone slices over the chicken, covering each piece completely.
-
Crush the croutons into coarse crumbs. Melt the butter and mix it thoroughly with the crouton crumbs.
-
Sprinkle the buttery crouton mixture evenly over the cheese-topped chicken.
-
Bake in the oven on the middle rack for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F) and the topping is golden brown. If the topping browns too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil for the remaining baking time.
-
Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve immediately.
