1 lb ground beef

1 package taco seasoning

1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 bell pepper, diced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 bag (9.75 oz) Doritos (Nacho Cheese flavor recommended)

1 cup salsa

1 cup sour cream

Optional garnishes: sliced black olives, jalapeños, cilantro
Instructions

Cook the Meat:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and water as per package instructions. Simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened. Set aside to cool slightly. -
Prepare the Salad Base:
In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, red onion, and drained black beans. Toss gently. -
Assemble the Salad:
Add the cooled seasoned beef and shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl. Crush the Doritos into bite-sized pieces and add them. -
Add Dressings and Serve:
Just before serving, add salsa and sour cream. Toss everything gently until evenly coated. Garnish with olives, jalapeños, and cilantro if desired. -
