Description
Easy garlic butter baked chicken breast recipe made with juicy chicken and herbs. Ready in 25 minutes for a flavorful dinner.
Ingredients
-
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (5 to 8 oz. each)
-
1 teaspoon paprika
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
-
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
-
2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
-
Flatten the chicken breasts to an even 1/2-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin for even cooking.
-
Season both sides of the chicken with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, and chopped parsley to create the garlic butter sauce.
-
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
-
If using an oven-safe skillet, spoon the garlic butter sauce over the seared chicken. If not, transfer the chicken to a baking dish and then add the sauce.
-
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
-
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon any remaining garlic butter sauce from the pan over the top before serving.
