Ingredients

2 to 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced in half horizontally

3 teaspoons paprika, divided

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder (optional)

1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons olive oil

3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon minced garlic (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F and position the rack in the center.

Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, chicken bouillon (if using), and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Arrange the chicken in a baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, minced garlic, remaining 2 teaspoons of paprika, parsley, red pepper flakes (if using), and Italian seasoning.

Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken, reserving a small portion if you want extra sauce for serving.
