Quick and easy garlic parmesan baked chicken recipe that’s full of flavor and perfect for a simple weeknight dinner.

  • 2 to 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced in half horizontally

  • 3 teaspoons paprika, divided

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder (optional)

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and position the rack in the center.

  • Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, chicken bouillon (if using), and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Arrange the chicken in a baking dish.

  • In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, minced garlic, remaining 2 teaspoons of paprika, parsley, red pepper flakes (if using), and Italian seasoning.

  • Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken, reserving a small portion if you want extra sauce for serving.

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

 

  • Serve hot with your choice of sides like roasted vegetables or cauliflower rice. Spoon any leftover sauce over the top for extra flavor.
