Crispy, cheesy baked halloumi potato bites with a golden exterior and flavorful interior. Perfect as an appetizer or snack!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 medium potato, grated
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 3.5 ounces grated halloumi cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Wash, peel, and grate potato.
  2. Soak grated potato in cold water briefly, then drain and squeeze dry.
  3. Combine dried potato with flour, water, all cheeses, thyme, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Grease baking dish with olive oil and spread mixture evenly.
  5. Drizzle surface with additional olive oil.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
