  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk plus extra to thin if required
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, buttermilk, and sour cream. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Add lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, and dried parsley. Whisk thoroughly to incorporate.
  3. Fold in the minced fresh chives.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. If the dressing is too thick, gradually add small amounts of buttermilk until reaching desired consistency.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours before serving to allow flavors to develop.

 

Notes

For best results, use full-fat dairy products and real buttermilk. Dressing will keep refrigerated in an airtight container for 5-7 days.
