Cheddar Biscuit Chicken Bake fresh out of the oven in a casserole dish

A hearty, comforting casserole featuring tender chicken and vegetables in a creamy sauce topped with cheesy biscuits.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rotisserie Chicken
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 10 oz Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 2 cups Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 12 oz Box Cheddar Bay Biscuits
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar
  • 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, vegetables, and chicken in a 9×13 casserole dish.
  2. Mix until well combined with no lumps except for vegetables.
  3. Prepare biscuit mixture according to box directions in a separate bowl.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the chicken mixture.
  5. Drop biscuit dough in 6-8 portions on top of the filling.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until biscuits are golden and filling is bubbling.
  7. Mix melted butter with the seasoning packet from the biscuit mix.
  8. Brush the butter mixture over hot biscuits before serving.
