  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 lb provolone cheese, sliced
  • ¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup milk (any variety)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  3. Grill chicken until fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
  4. Cook bacon in skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  5. Butter both cut sides of the French bread.
  6. Layer provolone and cheddar cheeses on bread.
  7. Chop cooked chicken and crumble bacon, distribute evenly over cheese.
  8. Mix mayonnaise, milk, and ranch seasoning to make dressing.
  9. Drizzle ranch dressing over assembled subs.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese melts and bread is golden.
  11. Let cool briefly before slicing and serving.
