Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

A quick and flavorful beef and cabbage stir fry that comes together in just 20 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights!

STIR FRY SAUCE

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp sriracha
  • 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar

STIR FRY

  • 1/2 head green cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 green onions
  • 1/2 Tbsp neutral cooking oil
  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbsp fresh grated ginger

Pinch of salt and pepper

  • GARNISHES (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp sriracha

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, and brown sugar in a small bowl for the stir fry sauce. Set aside.
  2. Shred half a cabbage (4-6 cups), grate two carrots (1 cup), slice green onions, mince garlic, and grate ginger.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add oil, then cook ground beef with garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until browned (about 5 minutes).
  4. Add cabbage and carrots to the skillet and cook until slightly wilted (3-4 minutes).
  5. Pour in the prepared sauce and add green onions. Stir well to combine.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and additional sriracha if desired. Serve immediately.
