Brownie Bombs

Fudgy brownie balls with a molten chocolate truffle center that creates an explosion of flavor when bitten into.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour(220 g)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ⅓ cup oil(80 mL)
  • ¼ cup butter(55 g), melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar(150 g)
  • ½ cup cocoa powder(60 g)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 10 milk chocolate truffles
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder in a medium bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, combine oil, melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder, whisking until smooth.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, mixing until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Roll dough into 2-inch balls, press a truffle into each, then completely encase the truffle with dough.
  7. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until just set but still soft.
  8. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
