Fluffy buttermilk pancakes with a perfect cinnamon sugar swirl and sweet vanilla glaze—the ultimate breakfast treat that combines pancakes and cinnamon rolls in one delicious package.

  • 2 cups Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancakes dry mix
  • 1 1⁄3 cups cold water
  • Cinnamon Swirl Filling
  • 2⁄3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • Vanilla Glaze
  • 1 1⁄2 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 35 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare pancake batter according to package directions, combining dry mix with cold water. Set aside.
  2. Make cinnamon filling by whisking together melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag.
  3. Heat griddle or pan to medium-low (250°F). Lightly grease with butter.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto cooking surface.
  5. Pipe cinnamon swirl on each pancake starting from outside and working inward.
  6. Cook until bubbles form and edges set, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  7. For the glaze, mix confectioner’s sugar with water gradually until smooth. Add vanilla extract.
  8. Drizzle warm pancakes with glaze and serve immediately.

Notes
