  • 1/4 cup fresh cranberries
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, minced (optional)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving
  • Apple or pear slices, for serving

Instructions

  4. Optionally score the top of the brie in a crosshatch pattern (not cutting through to the bottom).
  5. Spoon the orange-cranberry mixture over the Brie, spreading evenly.
  6. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the top if using.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is soft and the topping is bubbly.
  8. Let stand for 3-5 minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
  9. Serve warm with crackers, baguette slices, or fresh fruit.

Notes

  • Choose a brie that’s ripe but still firm for best results.
  • The cranberry-orange topping can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
  • For a spicier variation, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cranberry mixture.
