  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (for spicy version, optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped scallions (optional)
  • 2 tbsp finely grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until completely smooth and fluffy.
  2. Gently fold in minced chives, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add any optional ingredients for your preferred flavor variation.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (2 hours ideal) before serving.
  6. Serve with crackers, chips, vegetable sticks, or as a spread for sandwiches.
