Creamy Cucumber Salad

A refreshing, tangy side dish featuring crisp cucumbers and red onions in a creamy dill dressing.

 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar optional
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 large English cucumbers thinly sliced
  • ¼ red onion thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, vinegar, dill, sugar (if using), and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add thinly sliced cucumbers and red onions to the bowl with the dressing.
  4. Gently toss until all vegetables are evenly coated.
  5. For best flavor, refrigerate for 30-60 minutes before serving.
  6. Stir again just before serving and garnish with extra dill if desired.

Notes
