  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 1 ounce ranch seasoning mix (about 1 packet)
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional for slow cooker method)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and sprinkle with ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  2. Add chicken broth if using slow cooker method.
  3. Place softened cream cheese in dollops on top of chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until chicken reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove chicken and shred with forks, then return to slow cooker.
  6. Stir shredded chicken into the cream cheese sauce until well combined.
  7. Add shredded pepper jack cheese and crumbled bacon, stirring until cheese melts.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes
