Hot Honey Chicken

Juicy chicken tenders glazed with a sweet, tangy, and spicy hot honey sauce – ready in under 30 minutes for the perfect weeknight dinner.

  • to pounds chicken tenders
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ⅓ cup hot honey
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 thinly sliced green onions, for serving, optional

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Transfer to a plate and cover.
  3. Add remaining tablespoon of oil to the same skillet. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in apple cider vinegar and hot honey, stirring to combine. Bring to a low boil over medium-high heat.
  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer until slightly thickened, about 5-8 minutes.
  6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, then return chicken to the skillet.
  7. Spoon sauce over chicken, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve immediately.
