Ground Chicken Patties

Juicy, flavorful ground chicken patties with a golden exterior and perfect seasoning. Easy to make and versatile for any meal!

  • 1.5 pounds ground chicken* see notes
  • 1 1/4 cup breadcrumbs unseasoned
  • 1 cup parmesan grated
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine 3/4 cups breadcrumbs with 1/2 cup parmesan in a shallow bowl and set aside.
  2. Mix ground chicken, remaining breadcrumbs and parmesan, beaten egg, and seasonings in a large bowl.
  3. Gently fold until evenly combined, then chill for 20 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F and heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Form 4-ounce patties about 1 inch thick, coating each in the breadcrumb-parmesan mixture.
  6. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown, working in batches.
  7. Transfer browned patties to a baking sheet and bake for 6-8 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Serve immediately or cool completely for storage.

Notes

You can use ground chicken breast, thigh, or a combination. Thigh meat will produce juicier patties. For freezing, cool completely, freeze flat on a baking sheet for 1-2 hours, then transfer to freezer bags for up to 3 months.
