Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Juicy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers grilled to perfection

Juicy chicken skewers coated in a rich garlic parmesan butter sauce – perfect for dinner or as an appetizer. Can be made in an air fryer, oven, or grill!

 

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken tenders, thighs or breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce
  • 1 stick butter
  • 810 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce more if desired
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced
  • Chicken Seasonings
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Combine chicken seasonings in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Cut chicken into 3-inch pieces, place in a bowl or zip-top bag, and toss with olive oil and spices.
  4. Thread chicken onto skewers, packing tightly to ensure juiciness.
  5. Make sauce: Partially melt butter with garlic in a microwave-safe bowl. Add red pepper flakes, hot sauce, parsley, and parmesan. Whisk until combined.
  6. Separate sauce into two portions: 1/3 for basting during cooking, 2/3 for final coating.
  7. Air fryer method: Cook 2-3 skewers at 400°F for 5 minutes, flip and baste, cook 2 more minutes, flip and baste again, then cook 5-6 more minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F.
  8. Finish with a final coating of reserved sauce and a sprinkle of parmesan.

Notes
