  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

For the Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken breasts between plastic wrap to ½-inch thickness.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Set up breading station with flour mixture, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat until butter melts.
  6. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Remove chicken and set aside.
  8. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  9. Add chicken broth and lemon juice; simmer 2-3 minutes.
  10. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  11. Pour sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley before serving.
