  • 2 heads iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 8 oz. baby spinach, washed and dried
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 hard boiled eggs, chopped
  • 16 oz. bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
  • 10 oz. frozen peas, partially thawed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar, plus more to taste
  • Chopped fresh dill, for topping

Instructions

  1. Layer ingredients in a clear glass bowl starting with lettuce around the perimeter, then spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Continue layering with eggs, bacon, tomatoes, green onions, and cheese. Finish with partially thawed peas.
  3. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and sugar in a separate bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spread dressing over the top layer, ensuring it reaches the edges to create a seal.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh dill, cover, and refrigerate for 2-8 hours before serving.
  6. Toss gently before serving to distribute dressing.

For best results, ensure all ingredients are well-dried before layering. You can prepare this salad up to eight hours in advance.
