Tuna Pasta Salad

Classic tuna pasta salad with creamy dressing, tender shells, and crunchy vegetables – perfect for summer meals, picnics, or make-ahead lunches.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces small shells pasta, or your favorite bite-size pasta
  • 7 ounces canned albacore white tuna, packed in water, drained
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • dried dill weed, to taste, optional
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, drained tuna, chopped celery, red onion, and frozen peas.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise and Greek yogurt.
  4. Add half the dressing to the pasta mixture and toss gently to coat. Season with salt, pepper, and dried dill to taste.
  5. Refrigerate the pasta salad and remaining dressing separately, covered, for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Before serving, stir in the remaining dressing and adjust seasonings if needed.
